The course aims to provide a holistic perspective of the ecology of health and illness based on current interactional theories of mental and physical health and illness and of the relationship among physical, intrapsychic, and social systems. It examines the biochemical and energetic interaction among the nervous system, the endocrine system, and immune systems and the way this interacts with the reactions in the meridian systems.
