Basic principles of psychophysiology and biofeedback are reviewed. Included in this review are the physiological monitoring, measurement, and feedback of galvanic skin response (GSR), heart and respiration rates as well as peripheral body temperature training for lowered arousal. The Apparatus for Meridian Identification (AMI) and other electrophysiological equipment are briefly covered. The use of this equipment for diagnostics and biofeedback procedures will be discussed along with hands-on technical training. (4 units /BA 5 units)
