This course explores the emerging field of subtle energy based psychology that combines elements of cognitive psychology with new thinking in mind, body, and subtle energy theories, including electromagnetism, acupuncture, and quantum physics. The three major interacting systems: meridians and related acupoints; chakras; and the biofield or aura are identified. The various energy psychotherapies utilizing energy systems and their treatment approaches are reviewed.
